Schedule of Meetings

Board Meetings

The board meets monthly except in July and December. The location of the board meeting changes, so please contact a board member to find out where this month's board meeting is being held.  A typical agenda consists of opening remarks by the board president(s), review of the minutes of the previous meeting, the treasurer’s report, reports by each committee chairman and a discussion of old and new business. Occasionally a guest speaker will be invited to speak about a particular topic. The board may also vote on specific committee proposals.

Unit Meetings

When the League is working on a study, unit meetings are used in various ways depending on the current study being researched by the League.

Annual Meetings

An Annual Meeting is held during the month of March.  This is the primary meeting for the general membership. The business portion of the meeting includes adopting programs for the upcoming year, electing officers as defined in the bylaws, reviewing and adopting the budget and treasurer's report, and readopting the positions. Positions may be recommended for partial or full review and/or study.
